Last year our theme was “A Winter Wonderland” during the annual Christmas Kickoff celebration on Dayton’s Historic Main Street! Those who joined us Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving and enjoyed the rich tradition of activities, including holiday barrel tasting, hay rides, classic Main Street shopping, live theater production of Beauty & the Beast, and fabulous Friday-night Fireworks at 7 pm with a backdrop of the oldest courthouse in the state.
Downtown Dayton’s Classic Main Street Shopping featured food, crafts, and late night Christmas shopping.
Families enjoyed a mule-drawn wagon ride through the wide streets of Dayton both Friday and Saturday.
Dayton’s Historic Depot featured a Christmas Market and Art Show, with Santa stationed at the Depot both days for pictures with children.
Holiday visitors experienced a" Winter Wonderland" and enjoyed the fine dining and elegant lodging Dayton is famous for.
