DIY sign workshop
2 session times available: 10-1 & 3-6. Space limited to 25 per session, reserve your spot soon!

1. Choose a sign that you would like to make from the drop down menu! See pictures of options (you will customize with your choice of colors)
2. Pick a session time that works best for you.
3. In a note to shop at checkout, add personalization info if needed (initial, last name, est. date...)
DO I NEED TO BE CRAFTY TO DO THIS?
No!! You will be given guided instruction to complete your project from scratch.
HOW LONG DOES A WORKSHOP LAST?
Sessions are scheduled for 3 hours. Sometimes workshops are completed prior to that time and sometimes it takes a bit longer with a chatty crowd! Be sure to arrive 10 minutes early, class will start on scheduled time.
DO I NEED TO TELL YOU IN ADVANCE WHAT COLORS & STAIN I WOULD LIKE?
No. You will be given examples of stains & colors available to choose from. There is a wide variety available to satisfy each individuals home décor or style.
IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT TO ATTEND?
Due to tools, stain & paint being used infants & children are not allowed. I would be happy to schedule a private even for younger ages (parties for 10 or more).
DO YOU ALLOW CUSTOM DESIGN REQUESTS?
I have made a variety of designs available to choose from. Most of the time, it is more of an issue of narrowing it down rather than not finding an option you like! Several of the designs are personalized & need customized. Simple changes or substitutions of words within a design are allowed with no extra charge.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
I fully understand that circumstances arise & schedules collide! Due to the custom nature and space availability I do not offer refunds if you are not able to attend. HOWEVER>>>you are welcome to send someone to fill your reserved spot (72 hour notice required) OR I would be happy to make the sign for you and apply your registration fee
DO I PICK MY PROJECT AHEAD OF TIME?
Workshops require pre registration so that there is adequate time to prep and customize your material. Registration and information for your project is needed 72 hours in advance of the workshop. You may not want to wait that long to sign up as space may not be available! Please be sure to double check spelling, dates and any personalized information needed for your sign choice.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Bring your fun personality & be ready to create a perfect gift or piece for your home. The workshop can last a few hours. You are welcome to bring snacks and beverages.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Expect to have a great time!! You will be given all materials & instruction to make the sign of your choice. Choose your own paint and stain colors to create a gorgeous sign to hang in your home or give as a gift. You will sand, stain, paint, stencil, apply clear coat & a hanger to your piece/s
DO YOU NEED ANY INFORMATION FROM ME IN ADVANCE?
If you choose a sign that is personalized, I will need information in advance to have your custom stencil design ready (names, dates...)
drills, hammers, nails, paper, paint and oil based stains are used during the workshop. I recommend wearing clothing that is not valuable to you. Choose wisely in your clothing selection. Products used are damaging!
