General discussion on preparing your spring garden. Discussion will including determining if your soil needs amendments (fertilizer, compost, etc), successfully transplanting your seedlings, planting calendar (sequence of planting your garden), companion planting. We’ll also talk briefly on fire-safe landscaping. Handouts from WSU-Extension will be provided. Class size will be limited to the first 15 people who register by paying the class fee - $5.00 for members; $10 for non-members. If there is sufficient demand and the class fills quickly, a second class will be considered. Date – Sunday, April 29, 2018 – 1:00pm to 3:00pm Who - Class will be taught by Toby Salazar, WSU-Extension, Master Gardener.
